Printer Guide

What type of printer do I need for my EPOS system?

There are a range of printers available, from Impact to thermal. All Receipt Printers offer a rapid, accurate print, which will save time in a rapid service environment like a restaurant or busy retailer. Thermal printers offer many benefits over Impact as they offer a greater clarity at a higher print rate. At Infinity EPOS, we provide high speed Thermal Receipt Printers that are carefully sourced from a top quality supplier. All of our printers connect via USB and provide the ability to open cash drawers whenever a user requires it. Receipt and Ethernet printers can fill any business role, from restaurants and bars, to off-licences and high end retailers.

Are there any software or driver requirements?

EPOS software can have different hardware and driver requirements, so make sure you have compatible software before buying a receipt printer. Epson printer commands offer compatibility with most drivers and have their own Windows drivers, so any Epson printer will be a good bet if you are uncertain about compatibility. We supply printers that use Epson commands, allowing a level of compatibility with most POS hardware.

Did you know?Did you know that your printer can also be used as a marketing tool?

Your printer, aside from its intended use, can also be used as a marketing tool to help enhance your business. Use the headers and footers to advertise, sign customers up to emailing lists or promote marketing campaigns. Think of the receipt as a tool to bring you more custom, rather than something to just be handed out after a transaction.
