HARDWARE WARRANTY TERMS
-All hardware, as stated in the purchasing invoice, supplied directly by Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd to the customer, is covered against manufacturing defects in components.
-This warranty is valid for a total period of 12 months from the date of installation/delivery, and under the condition of RETURN TO BASE (RTB). Unless explicitly stated, all hardware support is remote as standard.
-Any issues reported to Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd after this period will be deemed outside the responsibility of Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd and treated accordingly.
-Return to base (RTB): The customer agrees to return the faulty unit within 10 days of the fault being reported to Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd, failure to do so will result in the RTB arrangement being cancelled. The Customer will return the faulty unit, at their own expense, to Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd current UK mainland service centre address, as directed by Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd at the time of reporting the fault. Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd will, at their own cost, subsequently return the repaired/replaced hardware that is deemed to be defective as a result of a manufacturer’s fault within the agreed time period. If any goods are received that are deemed to not be covered by the warranty, the customer will be liable for the return shipping at a rate of £15 + VAT. All goods must be returned to Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd. before any replacement or repaired goods are sent out.
-During the period of warranty validity, any fault should be reported to Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd. directly by calling the Support telephone number listed on our website during our office hours of Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, excluding public holidays. Alternatively, the fault may be reported via email to email@example.com.
-Before any reparation takes place, clearance must be obtained from Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd in the form of a valid case number and initial consultation analysis from which reparation decisions can be made.
-Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd. shall respond to queries on a next business day standard for calls logged before 5pm on the previous business day.
Invalidity of warranty
This warranty is deemed to be invalid under the following circumstances:
(a) More than 12 months has passed since the date of delivery.
(b) Any attempt to repair or otherwise interfere in any way with the unit by any person other than those explicitly authorized by Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd.
(c) Any damage caused by human error, mishaps, natural phenomena, power supply fluctuation, misuse, faulty installation by a third party or any condition other than manufacturing faults.
(d) The unit is used in an unsuitable environment. If in doubt, please contact Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd
(e) Problems caused as a result of third party hardware/software incompatibility.
(f) The serial number has been removed or tampered with in any way.
-This warranty is non-transferrable and only valid for the original purchaser.
-If the installation site moves, it is the responsibility of the customer to inform Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd immediately. Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd reserves the right to invalidate any on-site warranty benefits if the site moves from its original location. Furthermore, the entire warranty becomes invalid if the site of the units moves outside of mainland Great Britain.
-The warranty is only valid for products supplied directly by Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd.
-Any data retention or backup is the responsibility of the customer, and as such Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd accepts no responsibility for the loss or corruption of data during the reparation process.
Reparation of hardware that falls outside the scope of this warranty
-This warranty is only valid for reparations of hardware resulting from manufacturing faults.
-If an item is sent to the Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd repair centre that is deemed to not be covered by the warranty i.e. not a manufacturer’s hardware fault, then a flat-rate fee of £60 (ex. VAT) will be levied on the customer to cover any costs incurred. Furthermore, it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange two-way shipping.
-Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd will be under no obligation to make any reparations to any hardware that is not covered by the terms of the warranty, however if it is agreed for reparations to take place, it is the customer’s liability to pay for the entire cost of reparation before any work is carried out or items returned.
-The total cost will be invoiced to the customer for parts/labour/any incurred costs and all balances must be cleared before any items are returned.
Rights and responsibilities
-The liability of Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd under this warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of faulty hardware supplied by us within the warranty period.
-Infinity Business Advancement Systems Ltd will endeavour to complete all reparation works within a one business day turnaround of initial analysis, however no liability shall be taken for failures or delays in providing service due to causes beyond reasonable control.
-These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice being given. This does not affect your statutory rights.
